Indiana now requires unlicensed lash artists to complete a 45 hour, in person program approved by the Department of Health. The Babe Cave remains the #1 approved facility for this course.

Lizz has 8 years of experience in the industry and has dedicated her career to help aspiring artists/business owners unlock their full potential. As a college drop out turned business owner who had no support, she understands the struggles of doing something against the grain. As leader in the industry, her goal is to help as many people achieve success by delivering the best education in the midwest. Her goal is to raise the bar of lash education in the industry as a whole. Her expertise and commitment has earned her the exclusive role as the Midwest educator for Lashbox LA. From being a fully booked artist, to hiring a team, to starting an academy, and managing booth rentals, her proven strategies and passion for mentorship and scaling will help you achieve success and more.

Sandra is a highly skilled lash artist and bilingual educator. With 4 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sandra has mastered the art of lash extensions, offering clients customized, flawless looks that complement their unique features. I took the 45 hour lash course with Lizz and Sandy. This lash course exceeded my expectations! Despite my experience, I gained valuable insights and techniques, all while learning innovative approaches. Lizz broke down lash theory in a way that just clicked. Sandy’s support enhanced the learning experience by always being available for questions. Cannot recommend the lash academy at the Babe Cave enough. From the initial google search I was really impressed because I was able to get on the phone with Lizz (the owner) almost immediately and she answered all my questions and welcomed me to come into the salon if I wanted to. I came in this class with ZERO experience - like not even strip lash. I knew nothing, and I am leaving feeling confident to start lashing! The difference from my first model to my last is night and day. The information/theory taught is so valuable, ESPECIALLY the business side. I know girls who have taken lash courses elsewhere where business was not even touched on, so to have it be a focal point I found really amazing. I got the support I needed throughout the class and was able to truly learn. If you’re on the fence, do it!

Do I need prior experience?
Nope. Licensed or not, we start solid — but we don’t train beginners to wing it. You’ll walk out with skill, not guesswork.
What about safety and health laws?
We cover IDOH standards first thing. No shortcuts — only certified technique.
If I bomb the final test?
You get retake spots, extra tutorials, and hands-on support ‘til you nail it.
How long is the program?
6 days total:
10am - 6pm, broken up into 3 days (Thurs, Fri, Sat) for 2 weeks
How much is the investment?
Bypass getting a beauty license ($15,000+) and gain a new skillset for a one-time payment of $2500 or enroll in a payment plan
